Guidelines for Submitting an Expression of Interest to Host the International Association for Plant Biotechnology (IAPB) Secretariat and organizing 17^th IAPB Congress 2030

This document outlines the guidelines and instructions for IAPB members and National/Regional Correspondents interested in preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) to host the International Association for Plant Biotechnology (IAPB) Secretariat and organize the 17^th IAPB Congress in 2030. These guidelines are based on the IAPB Constitution, historical practices, and recent communications from the IAPB Secretariat.

The IAPB Congress is a quadrennial event aimed at promoting plant biotechnology, including cell and tissue culture applications, and providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information among its members. The 16^th IAPB Congress (2026) will be held in Saskatoon, Canada. The selection process outlined here pertains to the Congress following 2026, which is anticipated for 2030.
